This experience is designed for campers who desire a shorter stay and/or are coming for the first time. Campers enjoy many, but not quite all, of the same activities with a slightly different schedule. Still outrageously fun…just a bit shorter.

Traditional Teen Camp for Girls & Boys

For those who are a little older but still love Traditional Camp. Traditional Teens enjoy six days of living in the camp cabins, participating in favorite camp activities and a day canoeing on the river.

AGES 13-15

Adventure campers have so much fun hanging out with friends and counselors on their way to amazing adventures. Activities include a zip line excursion, a canoe trip, caving, and pontoon boating. Campers will also spend time learning about the great outdoors and how to protect it. Composting, recycling, and low impact camping will be taught and practiced. Adventure campers camp in tents each night and cook out most meals. Adventure Camp takes teens to the next level of camping.

Junior Counselor Program

APPLICATION PROCESS REQUIRED
AGES 16 - 18

***A note for Junior Counselor applicants: Junior Counselor applicants must turn 16 by April 30, 2013.
This program is a fabulous, engaging, hands-on training for older teens. Junior Counselors (JC) will be assigned as an assistant group counselor—assist with providing leadership, guidance, and daily care to a group of campers or as an assistant area counselor—assist in planning and implementing activity areas for the week at camp. This experience will train teens in the ways of camping, camp counseling, and leadership. Two week sessions are available for those who have completed at least one session of the Junior Counselor Program. Details are provided in the Junior Counselor application packet (found at the end of the registration page).

Ranch Hands is for teens ages 16-19 who have support needs due to a diagnosis or disability and who desire a fun, well-rounded camp experience. There are 3 elements to the program: leadership/training opportunities, meaningful tasks and recreational activities. These will be combined to create an individual schedule for the week. Each Ranch Hand will have a mentor counselor who will guide him or her through the schedule and do the activities and tasks alongside him or her.
