Whether it is through hiking in the woods, swimming in the pool, attending Mass, learning something new, or singing around the campfire the magic of camp happens in all of CYO Camps programs! This is the magic of building faith in individuals and community, the magic of fostering self-development, the magic of new relationships and the magic of FUN which happens for each participant in each and every program!

As camp moves ahead into the next season, the staff members of CYO Camp continue to devote themselves and camp’s resources to the development of people. The commitment is to provide programming that is positive, inclusive and could possibly be the best experience of a life!

American Camp Accreditation

CYO Camp is proud to be accredited by the American Camp Association. Developed exclusively for the camp profession, this nationally recognized program focuses on program quality, health and safety issues, and requires us to review every facet of our operation. CYO Camp Rancho Framasa has voluntarily submitted to this independent appraisal done by camp experts and has earned this mark of distinction.

Our staff are carefully screened and selected. Staff must have the appropriate qualifications and pass background checks.

In addition each staff member must complete a CYO Camp staff training week prior to working with campers. Staff are trained in child development, leadership, and problem solving. The staff are led by camp leaders who have many years of camping experience. CYO Camp meets these stringent standards because we believe in having a safe and organized camp in which children can have a safe and fun camp.
