SPIRITUAL Retreats

Retreat programming that meets your needs. Our goal is to work with you to customize your program. We have developed basic retreats that can be changed in various ways to meet your group’s goals.

Basic Retreats

  • Confirmation 1: When Jesus first started his ministry he called his disciples from all over the place. Do you ever feel like your youth are from all over the place? This retreat was designed for a confirmation class of youth who might not know each other well or at all. Prior to confirmation sessions we take time engaging participants in “get to know you” activities. Our goal is to develop community within the group. These activities allow youth to feel more comfortable sharing their faith and are in turn more open to learning about their faith and confirmation.
  • Confirmation 2: “The community of believers was of one heart and one mind” ~ Acts
If the youth in your confirmation group already know each other and are ready for a retreat focused on faith formation then this retreat may be the one for them. The retreat starts with fun activities and talks to get youth comfortable, but then dives right into the heart of confirmation. Like all our retreats, we customize this retreat to focus on topics that compliment your program the most.
  • Prayer: There are many different ways to pray. Prayer can be overwhelming for youth. How do they know where to start? On this Retreat we start with inventories for youth to take to start them on a prayer path that will guide their weekend and their lives. We explore ways to make active prayer a practical part of everyday life while meeting youth where they are today.

Community Building Retreat

We know parishes pull youth from many different schools. Breaking down barriers and bringing youth together can be very challenging. The focus of this retreat is to develop a sense of community within the group. This is a very active retreat that will keep youth moving and most importantly keep them moving together as they develop community.

Leadership Retreat

High school youth can be great role models for middle school youth programs! These youth have a strong desire to help and to share their faith. They may need just a little coaching to bring that raw talent and passion into focus. This retreat will help potential leaders to grow in their leadership skills. Whether you have a core team, deanery youth council or just a group that you think could really benefit from some leadership training, this retreat was designed for your group.
