Day Camp Counselor

The Camp Assistant position is for adults 18 and older who have a disability. In this supported employment program Camp Assistants have an Individualized Work Plan and work with a job coach. Training is “on the job.” The length of employment for this summer camp job will be determined in the hiring process for each individual. Volunteer & paid positions available. New staff applicants only are required to provide two references. Please provide the names and emails for two individuals on your application. An online reference link will be sent to the individuals listed. Please choose teachers, guidance counselor, advisor, past or present employers or a member of the clergy who know you well. References completed by co-workers, family members, friends or family friends will not be considered and will delay the application process.
Camp Assistant applicants who have not worked at camp before are required to provide two reference letters. Please ask two people you know you well to write a letter speaking to your character and work abilities. References completed by co-workers, family members, friends or friends of the family will not be considered and will delay the application process.
Returning Staff applicants are not required to provide references.
