Why I work(ed) at camp: The reason I wanted to work at camp this past summer was because I have always loved being in nature and working with kids. I had no idea it would be a life changing experience. CYO camp has a way of bringing people together in a uniquely authentic way. The relationships I formed at camp with the campers and other staff were some of the deepest, most beautiful bonds I've experienced to this day. Seeing the joy and excitement on the faces of the kiddos and being able to be a part of their camp experience was so fulfilling and helped me to rediscover the beauty in the little things in life. As a camper, my CYO counselors had such a big impact on me and it was amazing to be able to give back to a place that has already given me so much.
Favorite thing at camp : evening games, campfires, and horses
Favorite Quote: "Let no one ever come to you without leaving better and happier." - Mother Teresa
